On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, international students participating in TAEP (Teikyo University Asia Exchange Program) and exchange students from overseas partner universities arrived in Japan and began their study abroad life at Teikyo University's Hachioji Campus. On the day of arrival, they were greeted at Narita Airport by RAs (Residential Assistants), who coordinate dormitory life support, and buddy students, who provide support with university life and Japanese conversation studies. Various orientations began for the newly arrived international students on Monday, September 8, and second-semester classes began on Friday, September 12.
TAEP is an international exchange program established for students from Faculty of Economics Department of Economics, Department of International Economy and Department of Business Administration with the aim of fostering human resources who will contribute to the development of Japan and Asia. Currently, TAEP has agreements with universities in seven countries (Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Laos) and is actively promoting the acceptance and exchange of international students. The international students who have arrived in Japan this time will experience Japanese culture and student life while taking specialized courses in Japanese and English. Their buddies will support them in their daily lives and studies, and act as a bridge for cross-cultural exchange.
We will continue to strive to cultivate talented individuals with a global perspective, and look forward to active exchanges with Japanese students and international students from other countries.
